The Sankenbachsee and its waterfalls are a hidden gem that you can hike or cycle to directly from Baiersbronn. The rushing waterfalls and crystal-clear lake invite you to relax and marvel. You should definitely bring sturdy shoes to climb the waterfalls!
BUHLBACHSEE
The Buhlbachsee is a tranquil mountain lake surrounded by green forests. Explore the surroundings on foot or by e-bike and discover this hidden treasure. A place of tranquillity and relaxation. The Glashütte Buhlbach cultural park is located nearby.
HUZENBACHER LAKE & HUZENBACHER LAKE VIEW
Lake Huzenbach offers an idyllic setting for nature lovers. It is the legendary “classic” of the region’s cirque lakes. Created during the Ice Age by the abrasion of rocks carried under the glacier, the resulting hollow filled with water after the Ice Age and the retreat of the glaciers: a cirque lake was formed. Hike or cycle through the surrounding area and treat yourself to a break on the shores of this peaceful lake. The lake is surrounded by karst walls up to 160m high. This is where the Huzenbacher Seeblick is located.
The Huzenbacher Seeblick offers a panoramic view of the picturesque Huzenbacher See and the surrounding forests. A perfect place to admire the beauty of nature and enjoy the moment. Best reached by e-bike and then be inspired by the tranquillity.
